Rostrum is a pitch-video platform that connects startup founders and investors across Turkey and the MENA region. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Rostrum, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect the account details you provide when you sign up (such as your name, email address, and role), the profile and company information you choose to publish, the pitch videos and posts you upload, and the meeting and connection requests you send. We also collect basic usage and device information to keep the service secure and working reliably.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate Rostrum: to show your profile and pitches to relevant founders and investors, to facilitate introductions and meeting requests, to send you notifications you have opted into, and to maintain the safety and integrity of the platform. We do not sell your personal data.
When you sign in with Google
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) to create and authenticate your Rostrum account. We use this only to provide the service and never to send unsolicited marketing.
Sharing
Information you publish — your profile, company, and pitch videos — is visible to other Rostrum users according to your role and settings. We share data with service providers (for example, hosting and video infrastructure) only as needed to run the platform, and when required by law.
Your choices
